Welcome to Scaddan Primary School

It is with great pleasure that we extend a warm welcome to you and your children to Scaddan Primary School. We value the strong partnerships between home and school and believe that working together creates the best opportunities for every child to thrive.

At Scaddan Primary School, we are proud of our caring, inclusive and community-focused environment, where every student is known, supported and encouraged to achieve their personal best. We hope that through your involvement, interest and cooperation, you will quickly feel a strong sense of belonging within our school community.

We look forward to working with you throughout your association with our school and encourage families to become actively involved in their child’s education. Strong partnerships between school and home are highly valued and play an important role in supporting student success.

Our staff are professionally dedicated to providing a high-quality learning environment where pride, excellence, respect and nurturing relationships are at the heart of all we do. Each student is valued as an individual and supported to reach their full potential in a caring and inclusive setting. Our team is committed to achieving success for every student, every classroom, every day.

Scaddan Primary School maintains a strong focus on high-quality teaching, explicit instruction and high expectations for every student. A significant emphasis is placed on developing strong foundations in English and Mathematics, with targeted teaching approaches designed to support student growth, confidence and achievement across all year levels. Our classrooms are engaging, well-resourced and structured to maximise learning opportunities for every child. Technology is thoughtfully integrated into teaching and learning programs, with students accessing laptops, iPads, interactive technologies, robotics and coding to develop the skills needed for the future.

We currently cater for students from Kindergarten to Year 6 and provide a range of specialist learning opportunities including Science, Physical Education, Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden, French, Music and Visual Arts.

A whole-school planning process is embedded within our school culture to ensure continuous improvement and strategic direction. Our focus remains on strengthening student achievement, supporting staff development, fostering positive learning environments and building strong community connections.

We invite you to explore our website to gain a greater understanding of the programs, opportunities and experiences available at Scaddan Primary School.

Further information is regularly shared with families through our school newsletter, Seesaw, Compass, School Council and Parents and Citizens meetings.
